Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form a legally binding contract between Printer’s Academy On Line, LLC, d/b/a dinnerHQ (“dinnerHQ”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and any person who accesses or uses the dinnerHQ website located at https://www.dinnerhq.com (the “Site”) or purchases tickets for a dinnerHQ‑hosted event (collectively, the “User”, “you” or “your”).
THESE TERMS CONTAIN A MANDATORY, BINDING ARBITRATION CLAUSE, A CLASS‑ACTION WAIVER AND A WAIVER OF JURY TRIAL. PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By (i) visiting, browsing or otherwise using the Site, (ii) purchasing a ticket to a dinnerHQ event, or (iii) clicking “I agree” (or similar) where that option is made available, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by (a) these Terms, (b) our Privacy Policy, and (c) any additional policies referenced in these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or purchase a ticket.
If you accept these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. All references to “you” include the entity and its authorised representatives.
2. Description of Services
What we do
dinnerHQ curates small‑format networking dinners that match business professionals on the basis of industry verticals, functional roles and expressed interests (the “Services”). A standard ticket grants entry to a single dinner; it does not include and provides no credit toward the cost of food, beverages, sales tax or gratuity incurred at the restaurant.
What we do not promise
While we strive to assemble a balanced and engaging guest list, we cannot guarantee:
- a specific gender mix, age range, seniority level or number of attendees;
- that you will never be seated with someone you have previously met at another dinnerHQ event;
- that restaurants will stock specific menu items, eliminate all cross‑contamination of allergens, or comply with every dietary preference; or
- that any business outcome or relationship will result from your attendance.
Restaurant logistics
We confirm the restaurant name and address one (1) day before the event via email and/or SMS. We may change the venue on short notice due to availability or force majeure. Do not bring guests: tickets are individual and non‑transferable unless we approve a substitution in writing.
Information sharing
By purchasing a ticket you *authorize dinnerHQ to share the professional contact details you submit — your name, company, job title, business‑email address and LinkedIn profile (but not your phone number) — with the other confirmed attendees of the same dinner for post‑event networking purposes.
Estimated price range
The typical cost of a main course plus a soft drink at dinnerHQ restaurants falls between US $40 and US $80+ per person before tax and gratuity. Actual spend depends on menu choices and may exceed this range. Alcohol, appetisers, desserts, sales tax and a customary 18 – 22 % gratuity are not included in the ticket price.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the laws of the United States to use the Site or attend an event. We reserve the right to refuse access to anyone at any time for any lawful reason.
4. Account & Ticket Purchase
You are not required to create a persistent user account. To purchase a ticket we collect your name, business email, job title, company and payment details. Payments are processed by Stripe on our behalf; we never store full card numbers. Tickets are non‑refundable except as expressly stated in Section 5.
5. Cancellations & No‑Show Policy
Cancellation window
You may cancel a ticket up to 48 hours before the scheduled event start time for a full refund to the original payment method. No refunds are issued for cancellations inside 48 hours.
No‑shows
Failure to attend without prior notice counts as a no‑show. Accumulating two (2) no‑shows in any six‑month period may result in suspension from future events.
dinnerHQ Connection Guarantee
dinnerHQ offers a Connection Guarantee: if you attend three (3) dinners and do not make a meaningful connection, we will refund all fees paid for those dinners. To be eligible for this guarantee, you must meet all of the following requirements within a six (6) month period:
- Attend three (3) dinners in a span of six (6) months minimum;
- Complete every individual feedback form provided after each dinner;
- Arrive on time and remain for the entire duration of each dinner (no early departures);
- Contact at least six (6) fellow attendees after each dinner for professional networking purposes;
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude and demonstrate respectful behavior toward all participants, venue staff, and dinnerHQ personnel throughout all events;
- Comply with all other provisions of these Terms of Use.
Requests for Connection Guarantee refunds must be submitted in writing to legal@dinnerhq.com within thirty (30) days of attending the third qualifying dinner. dinnerHQ reserves the right to verify compliance with all requirements before processing any refund. This guarantee is available only to new participants and may not be combined with other offers or promotions.
6. User Conduct
You agree to:
- behave professionally and respectfully toward all participants, venue staff and dinnerHQ personnel;
- comply with all applicable laws and restaurant policies, including dress codes and alcohol regulations;
- avoid harassing, discriminatory, defamatory or otherwise unlawful speech or behaviour.
You shall not:
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation;
- collect personal data from other participants without consent;
- bring unregistered guests;
- resell or attempt to resell tickets without our written consent; or
- attempt to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Site or dinnerHQ systems.
We may remove you from an event or ban you from future purchases if, in our sole judgment, your conduct violates these Terms or damages our brand.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site—including text, graphics, logos, and software—is the property of dinnerHQ or its licensors and protected by U.S. and international IP laws. We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to access and use the Site for its intended purpose. Any other use is prohibited without our prior written consent.
8. Third‑Party Content & Links
The Site may contain links to third‑party websites or services that are not controlled by dinnerHQ. We provide these links as a convenience and disclaim any responsibility for the content or practices of such third parties.
9. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Site or attending an event you consent to those practices.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE, SERVICES AND EVENTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES—EXPRESS OR IMPLIED—including MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE and NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR‑FREE, OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME WILL RESULT FROM YOUR ATTENDANCE AT AN EVENT.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, dinnerHQ, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) US $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE TICKET GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; accordingly, some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless dinnerHQ and its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to (i) your breach of these Terms, (ii) your misuse of the Site or Services, or (iii) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
13. Modifications to Terms or Services
We may modify these Terms or any aspect of the Services at any time. Changes are effective when posted on the Site with a “last updated” date or when we otherwise notify you. If you continue to use the Site after the effective date, you accept the revised Terms.
14. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or cancel your ticket if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to other participants. In such cases no refund will be issued.
15. Governing Law; Arbitration; Class‑Action Waiver
These Terms and any dispute arising hereunder are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict‑of‑laws principles.
Arbitration
Except for claims that qualify for small‑claims court, any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration before a single arbitrator conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules in Miami‑Dade County, Florida. Each party shall bear its own costs except as may be awarded by the arbitrator.
Class‑Action & Jury‑Trial Waiver
YOU AND dinnerHQ AGREE THAT ANY PROCEEDINGS SHALL BE CONDUCTED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY, NOT AS A CLASS, MASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, AND YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
18. Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations at any time.
